Description: A Study in Depth explores the relative density of sound, especially when comparing the thickness of the brass ensemble against the lightness of the vibraphone and harp. The intention was to explore the more delicate side of the brass instruments and balance it with the harp and vibraphone, which function primarily as a unit.
